The Goalkeepers school works under the supervision
of "Barnet Academy" and "Pro Tec Trials".
Our principles of work are based on European Standards of
Coaching Goalkeepers aged 7-21, and our mission is to present
and pass on knowledge and experience from the best European
Schools: Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands…etc.
Our Head Coach Alex Cancar played as a professional goalkeeper
for 12 years and has over 20 years of experience and knowledge
to pass on to every youngster that attends the school.
The aim and principles of our training sessions
are to develop all the essential elements required to become
a great goalkeeper. These are:
Technique
Fitness
Psychological aspects
Coordination
Breakaway
Communication with and steering the last line
of defence
Fair play
Individual and group training sessions are
available at our school.
